Sleepy Gull is a beautifully presented, well-equipped cottage by the sea, located in the lovely village of Old Hunstanton. With a fully enclosed garden and off-road parking space, Sleepy Gull offers an easy ten minute walk down to the beach, with all local amenities within easy reach.
Sleepy Gull is a bright, comfortable and cheerful cottage, suitable for a small family or a small group who like to be close to the beach.Tucked back from the main road of this popular north west Norfolk village, this hideaway is beautifully presented with a fresh nautical feel making it an inviting home from home by the sea.
On the ground floor, the comfortable sitting room becomes a haven for relaxation with a wood burning stove that emits cosy warmth and romantic ambient light on chillier evenings. Hunker down to watch a film on the Smart television or indulge your competitive side by playing the board games. The well-equipped kitchen features modern appliances including a Nespresso coffee machine, and offers plenty of worktop space for rustling up delicious meals. A dining table for six means you can share good food and conversation as lasting holiday memories are made. Upstairs on the first floor, the bedroom has a king-size wrought iron bed and is served by a luxurious bathroom. Outside, the enclosed courtyard garden offers a charming spot for a morning coffee or evening drinks. And why not celebrate the sunshine and dine al fresco from the barbecue. Off-road parking for one car is available.
In Old Hunstanton you'll find an excellent beach cafe famed for its breakfasts, The Mariners and The Lodge pubs and The Neptune Michelin starred restaurant, as well as village shop and post office. Being on the Coasthopper bus route, you can walk for miles along the coast path and catch the bus back when you're feet are aching, or enjoy all the amenities and eateries of Hunstanton, Thornham and further afield. Being situated at the top of The Wash estuary Sleepy Gull is ideally located for spring and autumn bird migration enthusiasts as it is close to Titchwell, Holme and Snettisham nature reserves.

Great house was a perfect size for us. Good location, a little stroll to the beach and plenty of restaurants within a stones throw.

Sleepy Gull is a lovely, well equipped cottage in a great location. It is a warm, welcoming, comfortable house in a quiet location and the welcome pack was the best I have received. It's a great place to stay if you're walking or birdwatching and well placed for visiting most places in North Norfolk. We would recommend it highly and will definitely be returning for another stay.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed in the Sleepy Gull, it’s is always spotless, it has everything you need, it’s like home from home. The booking is always so easy . Thank you once again for a great holiday

Yet another delightful stay at Sleepy Gull. It is a very cosy house in an excellent position for walks along the coast.
