Boutique gift shops like Courtyards, galleries and a wonderful bookstore delight the senses. There are also many options for prepared food and small batch cheeses at the Cheese Wheel to bring back home for an enjoyable evening. Walking trails surround, a 500 acre preserve just a 5 minute walk up East road. The FarmCoast is home to beautiful beaches with the closest being Fogland Beach, only 1.5 mile drive away. Bicycle on miles of less travelled country roads that take you by farm stands selling fresh produce and past green pastures sloping down to scenic vistas of the Sakonnet River and Rhode Island Sound. Our favorite sweet corn in August is a 10 minute walk away. Fresh seafood is readily available at several local shops and impressive wine options are a quick drive.
