A private Florentine residence suspended above Piazza della Repubblica. In this home, light pours through grand windows and the rhythm of the city unfolds below.

What sets this home apart is something rarely found in Florence’s historic center: a truly expansive, open living and kitchen space—designed for modern living within centuries-old architecture.

THE SPACE

At the heart of the residence, a grand open-plan living and kitchen area creates a sense of volume and ease that is exceptionally rare in the ancient center of Florence.

The entire building has been meticulously rebuilt from the studs, allowing for a seamless blend of modern functionality and historic character—including preserved original wood ceilings that anchor the space in its Florentine heritage.

Oversized windows overlook Piazza della Repubblica, filling the home with natural light throughout the day.

The kitchen is centered around a Gullo range, combining Italian craftsmanship with performance—ideal for long, relaxed meals at home.

Materials and finishes have been selected with care:

    •    Carrara marble with warm walnut flooring
    •    Venetian plaster walls throughout
    •    Bizzaza ultra luxury hand-set mosaic tilework
