Napoleon’s sister had her sumptuous residence and many famous writers like Shelley and Lord Byron were guests of the Burlamacchi’s. In the 18th century the aristocratic families from all over Europe would gather in Bagni di Lucca for the therapeutical benefits of the thermal water springs.

The estate is composed of three Palazzo’s dating from the 1700 with 20 bedrooms, surrounded by italian style gardens with an infinity pool and private spa house where health treatments can be booked.

The staff prepare healthy daily breakfast included and meals are arranged with Teresa’s farm-to-table menus with recipes passed from her mother.
