We could not recommend Mario Apartment highly enough. If you are visiting Riomaggiore, stay here. The apartment is absolutely beautiful and has clearly been designed with so much thought, care and attention to detail. Every space is stylish, comfortable and beautifully considered, with amazing amenities and so many thoughtful little touches that make the stay feel genuinely special. But what really sets Mario Apartment apart is Roberto and Giovanna. They are truly exceptional hosts and went far beyond anything we expected. Roberto met us at the train station when we arrived and helped us with our luggage, which was so incredibly appreciated. They gave us fantastic recommendations for restaurants across the Cinque Terre towns, were always so helpful and welcoming, and even went the extra mile by driving us to Volastra early one morning so we could do the hike to Corniglia. That level of hospitality is rare. You can tell that Roberto and Giovanna genuinely care about their guests and want them to have the best possible experience, and it made our stay so memorable. The location is also fantastic for exploring Riomaggiore, surrounded by cafes, bars, and restaurants, and is only a short walk to the marina and the train station so you can explore the other Cinque Terre villages. Despite its central location, due to soundproof windows, you can still come back and relax in peace and quiet after a long day. Mario Apartment isn’t just somewhere to stay in Riomaggiore — it is part of what made our Cinque Terre experience so memorable. If you’re deciding where to stay, book this place. Abbiamo avuto l'immenso piacere e la fortuna di essere i primi ospiti di questa struttura meravigliosa, e non avremmo potuto chiedere di meglio per la nostra settimana nelle Cinque Terre! La casa è semplicemente stupenda: arredata con un gusto moderno impeccabile e curata nei minimi dettagli. È dotata di mille comfort che rendono il soggiorno rilassante e piacevole sotto ogni punto di vista. Si vede la cura e la passione che sono state messe nel prepararla per gli ospiti. La posizione è eccezionale: in pieno centro, comodissima per spostarsi a piedi, raggiungere la stazione, i ristoranti e il mare. Un capitolo a parte lo meritano i proprietari: gentilissimi, squisiti e sempre disponibili per qualsiasi necessità o consiglio. Ci hanno fatto sentire coccolati e accolti fin dal primo istante.
