Velora Resort

Very beautiful property in the middle of nature with nice pool. Bungalow was very nice and the outdoor bathroom was really cool. Staff was friendly and attentive. We booked safari through the hotel and we can not be more happy as we had wonderful driver/guide sanjeewa. He is very knowledgeable, he knew how to find lot of different birds and animals and took us close to elephants. He is also very good driver, we felt safe (we had toddler with us) and had great time with sanjeewa

This was a great launch point for our Udawalawe safari. The hotel helped arrange the tour for us as well as a taxi to our next destination. We enjoyed the “glamping” experience!

We can highly recommend this place to relax and enjoy all the comfort, also there is Udawalawa national park which you can visit through the resort and it's also beautiful.

Die Unterkunft ist absolut perfekt! Ein sehr sauberes, gemütliches und schönes Zimmer. Der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für eine Safari im Nationalpark. Die Gastgeber sind außergewöhnlich herzlich und erfüllen jeden Wunsch. Das Abendessen, welches optional genutzt werden kann, kann ich wärmstens empfehlen. Wir haben hier das beste und lokale Essen unserer Reise gegessen. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls reichhaltig und sehr lecker. Wir haben uns sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Danke für diese tollen Tage!
