Chapter Chianti, a Member of Design Hotels

Fantastic everything from food, views, accommodation, service, cocktails wowzers... and Larz was an amazing host.

There should be bathrobes in the room as it is a luxury resort. We did get some wgen we asked for them though..just minor point to elevate the client experience.

I absolutely loved our stay!! I was surprised to discover that the hotel is set in a medieval village. It really feels like stepping back in time, but with all the luxury and comfort of a modern hotel. It only opened in July 2026, so everything is brand new and beautifully designed. And the views of the Tuscan countryside are breathtaking! I came to celebrate my birthday, and it was the perfect choice! Our room was gorgeous, spacious, and very comfortable for three people, with amazing beds, a bathtub, and wonderful showers. Breakfast was fantastic, with an incredible selection of burrata, different kinds of yogurt, eggs, fresh fruit, juices, pastries, and sweets. So many delicious options! A special thank you to Yelena, Andrea, and the breakfast and dinner staff for being so kind and attentive. The pool is stunning, and the whole property is incredibly peaceful. It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy Tuscany. We had an amazing stay and would absolutely love to come back. Highly recommended!

A big disappointment. The location looks abandoned. The is no design at all, steel closet, uncomfortable beds, ugly floors, the staff is very bored, and we heard that a lot of the tourists are disappointed and leave earlier than they should. A big no! There are a lot of amazing others location!

The design of the room is so ugly! The windows were dirty, floors were plastic, the buildings have no Tuscan vibes!

A beautiful resort in a gorgeous and peaceful landscape. Completely quiet. Very clean room, comfortable beds, enough places to put towels and bath robes. Greatly equipped spa with a wonderful massage.

The hotel definitely does not have a 5* level. Everything is overpriced (a few examples: 22 eur for caprese with nothing but one tomato and three small pieces of mozza, 15 eur for a glass of prosecco at the pool bar, 5 eur for 0,5 l water in room bar, which is normally offered for free at even 4* hotels). We ate and drank cheaper and much better in very good restaurants and hotels in the center of Venice or Florence. We would accept that if the food and the service were worth it, but they absolutely weren’t. A beef tartar with dill, caviar and pesto is an example of disgusting flavor. For breakfast, there is only cold offer (which was tasty and of good quality), but if you want an omelet or so, you have to pay extra, and nobody bothers to offer it to you. The staff at the pool bar and restaurant is half asleep, half blind and not professional, they are not even welcoming. The have no idea what they’ re doing. They serve cold red wine and say it’s normal temperature (in Chianti region, my god). They tell you that you “should” have a reservation for dinner. When we wanted to make it, a lady in reception said it is fully booked, so we asked what are we supposed to eat when everything is far away, so they gave us a table and the restaurant was half empty the whole evening. It took us 20 minutes at breakfast to be able to even order a coffee and when it was brought 10 minutes later, it was cold. It seems like they invested a lot to built the hotel and now they are trying to earn it back asap, but this is not the way.
