Spacious, and very comfortable.
Despite having 3 huge TVs, none of the chrome casts work so we couldn’t use any streaming services. There was also no instructions on how to raise any issues, or how to use operate the sauna. Check in instructions were also very unclear.

De accommodatie is modern ingericht en voorzien van alle gemakken. Goed bed, fijne douche en de ligging is fantastisch.
Kleine onderdelen ( handvat doucheduur, spiegel, lamp ) zitten los en hebben onderhoud nodig.

The venue is lovely as are the cottages, they are well equipped and comfortable. The breakfast was great. Lots of choice and really good service.
When we found the cottages reception the member of staff there was very nice and helpful however I do feel that those staying in the cottages are treated as second class citizens.
You will be treated as, and made to feel like, a 2nd class citizen if staying in a cottage.
Be aware that Spa access is not included in the cost of the cottages, £95 per head to access the spa for the use of 1 sauna (the second was out of order), a small jacuzzi and a small outdoor pool - not value for money. We complained to the very helpful cottage receptionist at check in and we' were eventually given access to the spa. There is nowhere on the website that states this is not included. We had booked fairly last minute, however the only email we got from the hotel giving these details arrived at 3.15pm on the day we had checked out. We had been hoping for a relaxing spa evening and having to complain took the relaxation out of the evening.
When checking in you are dismissed from the main reception and sent round to the kids club to check in. The kids club just looks like another cottage so you dont feel you are in the right place. It feels more like checking into a holiday village/campsite.
They do not hold cards on file for the cottages anymore, they did on our first visit. Anytime you book a restaurant or order a drink at the bar they are at pains to tell you that as you stay in the cottages you must pay up front. We tried to book the restaurant and were told there was no room, as we were eating in the bar we heard hotel guests arrive and ask if there was availability for dinner and they were led straight in.
It feels like the hotel is trying to distance/remove itself from those that choose/prefer to stay in the cottages.
It is a nice location but we will not be back
