Great location; very kind and helpful host; immaculately clean; exceptionally comfortable bed; good quality bedding; very quiet.

A little desk or table would be helpful for working on; but also to put the tea tray as there was very little room on the mantelpiece. An additional cup and a glass. Storage was limited but fine for a couple of days

Our trip to the swan lodge was everything we could’ve wanted from a stay at the seaside. The hosts are lovely and so welcoming. They adapted breakfast to our vegetarian needs and were always up for a chat or giving us recommendations for the area. Our room was stunning and felt like out of a storybook. The steamtrain passes directly by the garden but it doesn’t go at night so it was lovely and quiet.

Great B&B, great host & brilliant room

This gorgeous B&B right in the heart of Swanage is a real gem of a place. Immaculately clean, beautifully presented and with welcoming and attentive hosts. We stayed in the art deco room, the bed was very comfortable with a window that looked out onto the garden. it was so peaceful. Breakfast was exceptional! With the added bonus of the option of enjoying it in the lovely garden. And even more special, the train track that runs at the foot of the garden on which the Swanage Railway steam train runs. It was 2 minutes from the station and everything else reachable with a short walk, we will definitely be back. We did try and extend our stay because we enjoyed it so much, however we weren’t able to as it was fully booked. That’s how much we loved it!
