A lovely cottage set in a peaceful Courtyard setting the perfect location for exploring the wonders of this beautiful corner of South West Scotland.. Ground Floor:

Bedroom 2: Kingsize (5ft) Bed Ensuite: Toilet (Only). Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Private parking for 4 cars. No smoking.. Originally constructed in 1822 as a Coaching Inn by the renowned engineer Thomas Telford, this charming cottage retains its historic allure while offering all the conveniences of contemporary living.
As you step into The Coach House, you’ll be greeted by its warm and inviting atmosphere, thanks to its tasteful decor and thoughtful layout. The large picture windows in the living area provide stunning views of the courtyard, allowing natural light to flood the space and creating a serene ambiance.
The ground floor features a delightful open plan living, dining, and kitchen area, ideal for spending quality time with your loved ones. Whether you’re preparing a delicious meal in the well-equipped kitchen, relaxing in the comfortable living space, or enjoying a family dinner at the dining table, you’ll feel right at home. Set amidst the beautiful southern upland hills it is a walker’s paradise with many routes starting from the town and taking in some beautiful lochs and valleys along the way. A must and only a short drive from Telford Mews is the “Grey Mares Tail” one of Scotland’s favourite water falls plunging 60 metres into the valley below, a spectacular sight.
