You'll find a kayak on site at this family-friendly cottage. Lake Norman is just a short walk away, so you can leave your car at the property, which offers onsite parking, or jump in your vehicle to make short work of the 5-minute drive to Catawba River.

After you return, you can unwind on the patio or sip a drink by the firepit. For a change of scenery, come inside and try your hand at table tennis, or enjoy the free WiFi, TV, and video-game console.

A living room, a BBQ grill, a fireplace, and air conditioning are featured at this 5-bedroom, 4.5-bathroom rental. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, a stovetop, and a refrigerator, as well as a microwave, cookware, and a blender. And there's a washer/dryer, so you can even pack a bit lighter.
