Buckhorn Cabin is ideal for guests who appreciate character over perfection, comfort over trends, and a real cabin experience that feels like stepping back to simpler mountain days. With log beds, antique décor, and a cozy, lived-in feel, this cabin offers a clean, functional space to relax, unwind, and enjoy the Smoky Mountains—hot tub, fresh air, and all. Conveniently located to Rocky Top Sports World, Arts and Crafts Community, and Downtown Gatlinburg.
Buckhorn Cabin – A True Smoky Mountain Cabin Experience
Welcome to Buckhorn Cabin, a classic Smoky Mountain retreat that embraces the charm of a true log cabin stay. This cozy 2-bedroom, 2-bath cabin offers a warm, inviting atmosphere with log beds, antique décor, and rustic details that give it a nostalgic mountain feel.
The décor is authentic and traditional — a little vintage, a little lived-in — but the cabin is fully functional, clean, and comfortable, making it the perfect place to unplug and enjoy the mountains without the fuss of overly modern finishes.
After a day of exploring, unwind in the private hot tub, enjoy a meal at the outdoor picnic table, or relax inside surrounded by wood textures and cabin character that remind you why you came to the Smokies in the first place.
Cabin Highlights:
2 bedrooms with log-style beds
2 full bathrooms
Private hot tub
Outdoor picnic table for meals and coffee
BBQ grill next to picnic table for outdoor dining and game night
Life-sized Games - Jenga, Connect Four, and Corn Hole
Cozy living space with rustic antiques and cabin décor
Quiet, laid-back mountain setting
Buckhorn Cabin is ideal for guests who appreciate character over perfection, comfort over trends, and a real cabin experience that feels like stepping back to simpler mountain days.
If you’re looking for sleek and modern, this may not be your spot — but if you’re looking for cozy nights, mountain charm, and a relaxing Smoky Mountain getaway, Buckhorn Cabin delivers exactly that.
** Please note:
The driveway to the cabin is a mix of well-maintained pavement, uneven surfaces with some potholes, and a concrete driveway near the cabin. A 4x4 vehicle is not required, but during winter months or icy conditions, a 4x4 or all-wheel drive vehicle is recommended.

We had a beautiful stay for far less than renting multiple hotel rooms. The cabin was a perfect level of seclusion and wonderfully quiet. The furnishings included toys and even supplies to make coffee and grill. Near enough to town or the Painted Bear Coffee shop but in a forested setting. After a day of adventuring in the park, Soaking in the hot tub while watching the fire flies was amazing. Highly recommend and I would happily stay here again.
