One hour before check in I received a message requesting additional information, including a photo of my passport, email, telephone number etc and a payment of £20 non refundable or £100 refundable for damage before receiving check in details. Receive a very long rambling message with entry details which were not very clear. I informed the management agency on day one that the toilet cistern wasn't working and not flushing and again on day 2. Although they promised to get it fixed, it wasn't. 7 days without a proper working toilet. Street level apartment with heavy traffic noise outside until after midnight and from 6am onwards

Apartment and it's comfort/amenities/cleanliness. Lots of useful crockery and cutlery, pots and pans etc. Bed was very comfy and my child found the sofa bed the same. Plenty of towels and bedding provided. Offered and accepted another night's stay at a great reduced price.

Minor parking dispute with a resident which I had to find a resolution with the building's management team due to My Host seemingly not being able to assist. Unfortunately, as a previous guest has mentioned, there are only tiny windows that you can open and if you open the blinds to allow natural light in you come face to face with people walking past so zero privacy so kept them closed during our stay.

Apartment is really nice, fully equipped and has all the tools and amenities for a long stay. Has private parking as well. Quite close to the Derby city center and all the shopping areas.

Biggest downside to this apartment is that all the windows are facing the main street and its on the ground floor. The noise from the street is very loud, even during the night. You always need to keep your blinds somewhat closed if you don't want passerby's to see you inside and have some privacy. During summer this apartment becomes a sauna, because the whole day the sun is constantly shining into your windows and only having a few small windows that you can open barely helps to cool down the apartment.
