We stayed here for just two nights on our first trip to Italy, while passing through Volterra, but we could easily have stayed for a whole week! We were warmly welcomed by our hosts, David and Deborah, who kindly treated us to a bottle of delicious Tuscan wine. The house is very spacious, and we really appreciated how clean it was. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped, it’s just a shame we didn’t have enough time to make the most of it and cook! The view is beautiful, and the owners were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They even provided us with an inflatable floating tray, so we could keep a bottle of wine and some fruit with us while relaxing in the swimming pool – such a thoughtful touch! Surrounded by nature and far from the hustle and bustle, it’s the perfect place to unwind. We will definitely be coming back!
