We were really happy with our stay. Everything looked exactly like in the pictures and the villa was clean, comfortable and well equipped. We especially enjoyed the private pool, which was perfect for cooling down and also big enough to swim a little. We also really appreciated that there was already some water, fruits, snacks and wine waiting for us in the villa. It was a really nice welcome and meant that we didn't have to go shopping straight away after arriving, so we could just settle in and relax. The host was very friendly and helpful. She answered all our questions and was always available whenever we needed anything. She also gave us some great recommendations for beaches, activities and places to visit. One thing to keep in mind is that having a car is recommended, as the villa is located a little further inland and not directly in a busy tourist area. However, we actually really liked the location because it was quiet and peaceful, while the beaches, Heraklion and other places were still easy to reach by car.

The beds were a little firm for our preference, but this is a matter of personal taste. Otherwise, everything was great.
