Location is great, walkable to downtown, value for money was there but you also get what you pay for. Bed was comfy, if not new.
Shared kitchen was dirty which is always a little shameful. Lack of emmjnty in room, bed side lamp as example was there but was in the closet?

Located in the North end of Halifax. It is situated in an eclectic mix of businesses, liked the restaurant and pizza place right up the street . Good for bus routes for a short stay

Within walking distance of everything.
We did not have enough towels in the room, and no one cleaned the room during our stay!

No breakfast but cheap roof over my head.
Not what was advertised. At $60 for a bed and facilities in near downtown Halifax, great for the price if you're alone and not picky. However I wasn't in the Blue House but the complex below. Though I was given key access to the upstairs facilities of the Blue House. This is a boarding house setup and the bed advertised is not what I got. Anyway still great considering what Hotel cost are like in Halifax!
