We were honoured to be Bernard's first guests in his beautiful new house. It has very high end fittings and there has been so much attention paid to making everything perfect. There are two extremely well equipped kitchens and a large outside table. We were a party of 11 including 2 young children and it worked very well for us. Bernard is an excellent host and very quick to respond and address any small issues we had. The amazing retractable enclosure over the pool was wonderful and the pool was much enjoyed by the kids. The back garden was bigger than we had thought and was great for kicking a ball around. It is in a perfect area, not over-commercialised but with a well-stocked medium-sized supermarket and artisan bakery 8 minutes walk away. There are two Padel clubs a few minutes drive away, plus two adventure parks, Aqualand and a laser tag activity. The station is 5 minutes walk with trains to Arcachon and Bordeaux. Everywhere is cycle friendly and the beach is a few minutes walk away. All in all, the best gîte we have stayed in!
