Our family had such a wonderful stay at Woodchuck Acres! From the moment we arrived, it felt peaceful, welcoming, and like a true home away from home. The cabin was cozy and thoughtfully stocked with all the little things you usually forget to pack. It was obvious that Christy has gone the extra mile to make guests feel comfortable, and those extra touches made a big difference. One of our favorite ways to start the day was relaxing on the porch bed swing with a cup of coffee while listening to the sounds of nature. Evenings were just as memorable, filled with cornhole tournaments, roasting s'mores around the fire, and making family memories. The pedal boat was a huge hit! We spent time out on the water fishing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The duck scavenger hunt was another fun surprise that kept everyone entertained and added a special touch to our stay. The location was perfect, too. We loved cooling off at the nearby rock slide at Wildcat Creek, found some great treasures while thrifting in the area, and enjoyed several delicious local restaurants.Christy was an exceptional host—friendly, responsive, and clearly passionate about creating a place where families can relax and reconnect. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway with plenty to do nearby and a cabin that truly feels like home, Woodchuck Acres is the perfect choice. We can't wait to come back!
