Tucked away in a peaceful pocket at the base of Mount Buller, The Shack is a laid-back spot to settle into between days out exploring. Step outside and you’re right where you want to be, with mountain bike trails, walking tracks and the fresh, flowing Delatite River all close by. If a slower afternoon is on the cards, Delatite Winery is just a short drive away.

Inside, it’s all about comfort without the fuss. The kitchen is well equipped for easy meals, complete with a Nespresso pod machine and dishwasher, while the laundry setup, including washer, dryer and a dedicated drying zone, is ideal after a day on the slopes or trails.

Sleeping up to seven guests, the layout is flexible and well suited to families or small groups. The downstairs bedroom features a queen bed and a king single, while the loft offers a queen and a double, creating a relaxed, open sleeping space with plenty of room to unwind.

Whether you’re chasing snow days or long, active weekends outdoors, this is a simple, well-located base to come back to. With Mt Buller’s entry gates just minutes away, you’re perfectly placed to make the most of it.
