Weardale Shepherd’s Hut is a luxurious rural retreat nestled on a working hill farm, offering breathtaking views across the rolling landscape of Weardale in the heart of the Durham Dales. Designed for couples seeking peace, privacy, and a touch of indulgence, this beautifully crafted shepherd’s hut provides an unforgettable countryside escape.

Inside, the hut is thoughtfully laid out to maximise comfort and style. You’ll find a cosy double bed, a welcoming seating area, and a wood-burning stove perfect for relaxing evenings. The well-equipped kitchenette includes a microwave, fridge, coffee machine, kettle, and toaster. A sleek, modern shower room completes the interior.

Step outside and soak in the stunning scenery from your private, bubbling wood-fired hot tub—an ideal spot to unwind while taking in the ever-changing countryside views. With only one hut on site, guests can enjoy complete seclusion and uninterrupted tranquillity.

Weardale Shepherd’s Hut is dog-friendly, welcoming well-behaved dogs of all breeds at no extra charge. A secure, fenced garden provides peace of mind, although guests should note that this is a working farm and dogs must be kept under full control at all times.

Additional amenities include a free-to-use electric vehicle charger, a BBQ for outdoor dining, and thoughtful extras such as marshmallows for toasting.
