The hotel environment is excellent and provides a very good GangNam feel. The staff are friendly and helpful.
However, the villa room interior layout is not that user-friendly. For example, the TV is behind the long sofa bench.

Nice hotel. Front office staff was excellent but restaurant staff needs training. Some sour faced and don’t make you feel welcome.
Hotel needs upgrading, lots of taps in jacuzzi and swimming pool not functioning.
Sheraton which is right opposite and 1/3 the price is probably a better choice. Banyan needs to do something to prove it’s worthy of the price premium it charges!

My wife and I stayed there to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. Staffs there is very friendly and helpful. They offer many different services and recommendations before I ask. Very nice experience to stay in Hangzhou Banyeen Tree. The environment around the hotel is very relaxing and quite. The only thing that I don't like is there is only one restaurant inside the hotel; however, there are few just 10 mins away from the hotel and many different around within 1 to 2 kilometres.
From the hotel to West Lake is only 20 kilometers by taxi which only cost ¥40. I think it is quite convenience as hotel can help to get a taxi.
