We recently stayed at The Lime House over Easter for two nights with our extended family, and overall had a really lovely experience. There were 27 of us in total, with 22 staying in the house and 5 in the Holly Yurt, and the setup worked very well for a large group. The house itself is very spacious and perfectly suited to accommodating big families. The fact that each room is en suite was a huge plus, as it gave each family their own privacy while still enjoying time together. The kitchen was very well equipped, making it easy to cater for a group of our size. The outdoor space was fantastic, especially for the younger children who had so much freedom to play safely. The location is also ideal — within walking distance to Slane, which was very convenient. The house was warm, comfortable, and very welcoming throughout our stay. We also had pizzas provided by Rock Farm, which were excellent and a really nice addition to the experience. The only downside for us was the hot tub. We had it booked for both days, but unfortunately it didn’t heat up to the expected level and wasn’t ready at the time we had requested, which was disappointing. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend The Lime House for large family groups.

A really fantastic spot. A group of 15 of us stayed in the Lime House for a birthday celebration - it was perfect. The house is beautiful and perfect for hosting a large group, with a spacious and bright seating area conveniently attached to a well equipped kitchen and a lovely chill sitting room. The bedrooms are all spacious and warm, with particularly comfy beds and underfloor heating in a tile bathroom is 10/10. You can't hear the downstairs from upstairs, which was key for a big party. We stayed in late November with pretty bad weather, and it was still fantastic. The sauna & hot tub facilities are class and only a 5 minute amble from the Lime House. The hot tub at the Lime House was a real luxury. The staff were excellent too, checking in regularly, facilitating what we needed but never getting in the way. I can't fault a thing, looking forward to going back again.

We were at the Lime House for a seminar. It's a great place to stay, especially as you get to do a lot of outdoor activities. The area is great and ideal for walking. There were a few things missing in the kitchen, like a small pot or sharp knives. But all in all we had a good time at Lime House.

Myself and my large family 16 stayed at rock farm over the Christmas period and had a great time, the house was great and catered for all our needs and Hussein the caretaker was really helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend staying here
