Your retreat right on the edge of the forest: This lovingly restored forester’s lodge combines historic charm with modern comfort. The private barrel sauna for 1–2 people and two fireplaces create unforgettable moments of relaxation—whether after a hike in the Eggegebirge mountains or on cool evenings.

Inside, you’ll find a well-thought-out layout featuring natural materials and a keen eye for detail. The two fireplaces provide cozy warmth and create a special atmosphere. Cyclists will find a lockable container with charging facilities for e-bikes.

The spacious outdoor area with a fire pit invites you to spend evenings under the starry sky. Surrounded by forest, you’ll enjoy absolute tranquility—only the rustling of leaves and birdsong will accompany you. The new barrel sauna offers relaxation with a view of nature.

The forest begins right at your doorstep and leads you along beautiful loop trails. The Eggegebirge mountains, home to the European long-distance hiking trail E1, are in the immediate vicinity. Lichtenau, Paderborn with its cathedral, and the imposing Wewelsburg Castle are all within easy reach. The Teutoburg Forest Nature Park invites you to explore.
