In this authentic wooden cottage, built from timber sourced from the surrounding forest, you can enjoy the perfect blend of forest life and proximity to the sea on Orust. The large windows frame the forest landscape and create a natural connection between indoors and outdoors, while the built-in fireplace spreads warmth on cool evenings.
The open-plan living room with dining area forms the heart of the cottage and flows naturally into the kitchen. The separate bedrooms guarantee undisturbed rest, and thanks to the location on the edge of the forest, you can experience total silence and darker nights for a good night's sleep.
The long, narrow natural plot is an extension of the forest, covered with moss and blueberry bushes, where tall trees provide a home for small birds. There is plenty of space for both play and relaxation on the soft moss carpet around the house.
From the cottage, you are only 3 kilometers from the sea at Slussens Pensionat, where you will find jetties and diving towers for swimming. Discover Orust's many hiking trails, visit local cafés, or take a trip to the Nordic Watercolor Museum on nearby Tjörn.
