It sleeps six comfortably among three bedrooms, each with its own Queen-sized bed and cable television. A fully stocked kitchen and gas grill afford indoor and outdoor cooking options. Situated along the hilltop near Chesnut Bay’s main entrance, the Sunshine Cottage features a large screened porch that commands sweeping views of the resort and lake.

Chesnut Bay has 2 Beach Areas with Chairs and Umbrellas furnished . Boat and Jet Rentals on Site. 2 Pools, Basketball court and Swing set for the kids. Free Kayaks, water bicycles also on the Great Escapes side there is 2 playgrounds , basketball court, ice cream shop, gift shop, waterpark, jumping pillow, corn hole, horse shoes.

Chesnut Bay Resort and Great Escapes RV resorts and Pirates Bay Waterpark are nestled in a small community on Weiss Lake in Leesburg , Alabama.
Getting Around:
Great Escapes rent golf carts for 75.00 @ day and you have to be 21 years old to rent one and 18 to drive. No outside
golf carts are allowed. We are only a short distance to Dollar General in Leesburg and 10 minutes from Walmart. We have several local food recomendations.
