This home is the perfect getaway, no matter the season! In the summer, relax outside (or in) the Trout River, light a campfire, and enjoy an outdoor sound system from the brand new deck. In the winter, hit the slopes, then gather in the living room and warm up by the gas fireplace while streaming your favorite movies or shows on the 70' TV. The well-equipped kitchen makes meal time with your loved ones a breeze. At the end of the day, retreat to one of the bedrooms and sleep soundly before the next day's adventures.
Within walking distance you can get your morning coffee fix and grab some breakfast, or get takeout at several restaurants! The upscale, world-class Jay Peak Resort is less than nine miles away with skiing, an indoor waterpark, ice area, dining, golfing. Explore beautiful hiking and mountain biking trails with incredible views at the nearby Jay Peak Trailhead. The Vermont Long Trail is just miles away as well for serious enthusiasts! We stayed for 3 nights during our kids’ April vacation to be near to the Pump House at Jay Peak Resort - we had a blast. There were 6 of us, and we had plenty of room. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, grill tools, and even had a drawer full of kids dishes. The stove and oven worked great - the coffee machine was heavenly. The grill was fantastic, and the fridge had lots of space. We recommend you bring your own spices and oils, but if you forget anything, there’s a general store just a few-minutes walk away. The beds were comfy as were the sitting areas. We loved the option to either dine on the picnic table in the porch area or in the dining room. Sadly, it was a bit too chilly still for our kids to be hanging outside much. So, we didn’t get to use the deck area a whole lot, but look forward to doing that during another stay. Yes, we’d definitely go back. And let us not forget the most gorgeous thing about this stay - Trout River. It is truly beautiful, and the house is just steps from it. The deck is the perfect spot to enjoy it - just listening to it made all of us instantly chiller. Very much recommend this place. Final note about bathrooms: it’s great that they have a 1/4 bath downstairs, but just be aware that it is very small to the point where taller or larger bodied folks may not be able to use it. The upstairs bathroom was usable and comfortable for all members of our group.

Third time we booked this place. Loved it even more than the first time. Great place to relax with great kitchen to cook for your group.
