Our first trip to Malta, my retired girlfriend and I picked this place hoping for comfort, security and location convenience and it delivered each of these - it is indeed cozy. We were right in the heart of Valletta, walking distance to interesting sights, one small convenience store and pickup locations for tour companies. We bussed from the airport to the Valetta bus terminal then walked 10-12 blocks to the apartment. Check-in was self-serve and easy ... a day or two before arrival, we received messages with directions to the apartment and the lockbox key code for the key to the apartment. Upon arrival, we discovered the power adaptor required for the hair dryer had been removed by the previous guests and there was no mirror for hair drying. A message to the property manager received a prompt response - replacement adapters were dispatched to us within 2 hours and the next day a floor standing mirror arrived. The responsiveness of property management was a pleasant surprise, especially since we were seeking assistance on a Sunday!

The listing photos do the unit justice in that it is new, modern, clean and well-furnished. Disappointments were: - it is a ground floor unit, located at the bottom of more than a dozen steps from street level (OK to get to, inconvenient to lug one's bags back up the steps upon departure) - there are two windows to the outdoors, both frosted, so nothing visible - the apartment has a musty smell to it from poor air circulation ... there is a dehumidifier that had to be emptied three times per day.
