The Saaler Bodden, a paradise for surfers and kiters, is just 300 metres away. Wustrow, Ahrenshoop and Dierhagen can be reached by car within 15 minutes and by bike within 40 minutes. There are very well-developed cycle paths (Baltic Sea cycle path). The nearest supermarket is eight kilometres away. There is a bakery three kilometres away.
