We loved the atmosphere. It had everything we needed. I liked the wee homely touches. The car parking was really important to us so that was excellent. It was perfectly placed to go into the town and access all the amenities.

There was an issue with the shower. The owners have apologised and say they are working on fixing it. Need a chopping board!

A well equipped and nice apartment. Contact with the host was great and keys easily located.

The street is very, very narrow to drive down. We struggled to actually find the building as there is no label on it at the parking entrance. We asked locals walking their dogs where Waterloo house was and they didn't even know! Trying to park is extremely tight. I found it really stressful, glad we arrived in the daylight and we didn't go out in the evening as it would have been a struggle to park up. We had to wash all the plates, cups, cutlery etc before we used them, lots of dirty marks on them. There is a small dining table but no chairs round it to sit at so eating on the sofa was uncomfortable and worrying incase of spilling anything, especially after paying the £300 security deposit which I was unaware of at the time of booking. There was also lots of mail lying about which I presume was for the owner. Traffic along Waterloo Road is extremely noisy and going very fast.
