Shangri-La The Heritage Haveli Jodhpur

I just stayed in Jodhpur for 5 nights. I was given the exact location and advise how much a tuktuk from the station should cost (always helpful to avoid paying tourist fares). My host was very friendly and helpful, always available if i had a question or needed advise. The food was excellent, freshly cooked while I was relaxing in the dining room. And the chai, it was gorgeous! In the end I was served double portions as a single one just wasn't enough. It was rather hot when I arrived and I was offered a different, cooler room. It was spacious with a big bed and a big, attached bathroom. Everything I needed! On top of that there was a court yard and roof terrace to sit and relax. The roof terrace offered stunning views of the fort but more interestingly, a view over the street below. I would sit up there in the mornings or evening, watch the hustle and hustle below and wave at neighbours greeting me from across the road. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Thank you.
