Welcome to our Cabin, a classic older lakefront cabin set along the sandy shores of Lake Huron. This is a relaxed, no-fuss getaway with beautiful water views, direct beach access, and the charm of a traditional Michigan cabin. Guests should know this is an older home with a rustic cabin feel, including the natural scent that can come with a seasonal lake cabin. The home also uses well water, which may have a different smell, taste, or mineral content than city water. We recommend guests bring bottled drinking water if they are sensitive to well water. Inside, you’ll find a comfortable and practical space for a simple lake escape. The cabin offers the essentials for your stay, including a kitchen, living space, and cozy areas to unwind after a day outside. It is not a modern luxury rental, but it is a peaceful place to slow down, enjoy the lake, and make classic Up North memories. Outside, the setting is the highlight. Start your morning with sunrise views over Lake Huron, spend the afternoon with your toes in the sand, and wind down in the evening by the water. Whether you’re planning a fishing trip, a family beach weekend, or a quiet retreat, Sandy Shores offers an easygoing place to enjoy Michigan’s Sunrise Side.
