Updated 1953 charming Cape Cod. Luxury Pillow top mattresses & hotel quality sheets & towels, while maintaining the character & story of an older home.
New HVAC system for the entire house. Third bedroom has vaulted ceiling with fan. Hardwood floors. Bright & sunny, treetop views. Fourth Bedroom has a new King sized Dream Cloud Bed and all new hotel quality high end bedding. New 4K Smart TV. Vaulted ceiling with fan & hardwood floors.
Large luxurious state of the art new full bath. Clean, crisp, polished chrome fixtures, double sink, tub & shower. Enjoy!!!
2 bedrooms on first floor, 1 with Queen and 1 with two twins. Two bedrooms share full bath.
2 bedrooms on 2nd floor. 1 with King bed, 1 with Queen bed. Both share a full bath with double sinks.
Easy access into home up a couple of steps with rod iron railing on sides.
Guest Access:
Quick 10 min. drive to the KY Exposition Center
10 min. from downtown (Museum row, Ky. Center for the Arts, Muhammed Ali Center, Nulu & Butchertown neighborhoods full of shops, restaurants & bars).
4.5 Miles from Churchill Downs.
The Neighborhood:
The home is set in Deer Park, steps away from the trendy stretch of eateries, craft beer taverns, fashion shops, and cocktail bars along Bardstown Road. Take a stroll through Cherokee Park, then see a movie at the nearby Baxter Avenue Theatres.
Getting Around:
Easy in and out access by car or walking. Ample off street parking in back of house for 2 cars. Others could fit drive or street.
Other Things to Note:
Great location! Walk one block to Shenanigans, an Irish neighborhood bar & grille, Sunergos, a locally owned coffee shop, and Kaelins, a renovated upscale urban chic restaurant/bar. Easy walk to Bellarmine University, 3 block walk to Bardstown Rd with all the restaurants, shopping & bars you could want.
