Appartement très propre, spacieux et bien placé a 500m de la cathédrale à Amalfi. Bien équipé, une machine a laver a disposition, fer a repasser, lit parapluie pour bebe. Le propriétaire Salvatore très sympa nous a aidé pour le transfert à l’hotel et l’aéroport.

Beautifully appointed apartment, large bedroom, plenty of room to store two suitcases in large work in wardrobe. Very clean and well maintained apartment. Very quiet location. Good sized kitchen and living area and balcony. Great to have a washing machine and somewhere to hang one’s clothes. The apartment is 500 meters from main piazza opposite cathedral. One has to walk up the Main Street which is quite a steep incline especially wheeling a suitcase up a pebble stone road. Excellent restaurant and coffee shop about 100 meters down from apartment. Highly recommend Amalfia Apartments.

Hills and steps to get to your room but…..that’s Amalfi I guess!

Loved that the property wasn’t too far up so it wasn’t too hard to access from the main square. I also loved how secure it is and well made and maintained. I liked that it had the same or similar amenities to a hotel (a safe, extra towels, big space for luggage). Also Salvatore is a great and accommodating host and even helped us arrange an affordable taxi to the airport.

Something that isn’t essential but might be nice is a smart TV loaded perhaps with Netflix etc. also the checkout could be slightly later. 10am is a bit too early especially as the airport is quite far away so most people would be getting an afternoon or evening flight anyway

Clean and new

Host was very ‘rushed’. Parking that was recomended tried to ask for more money. Location was hard to reach by car because of all the people walking. You had to go through the hart of the center. We called the host. He sounded very bothered. When we arrived he hardly explained anything asked directly for 12 euros tax and that we shouldnt move our car from the parking anymore because there will not be any space anymore. After receiving the tax he said: you will not see me anymore :-D This is maybe the ‘Italian charm’? LOL. Keep in mind if you have luggage you will have to park in front of the building and go up the stairs (no elevator) if you park first then you have to travel with all you luggage up the hill. Keep this in mind. If you book ahead you can find similar accommodation for a much lower price. The price also changed during the morning I was booking aswell.

The apartment was spacious and clean! Having cooking facilities was a great help when you are staying longer than a couple of nights!

It was a little bit of a walk but up the hill make sure you book a porter to bring your bags up
