This stay was absolutely fantastic—one I will remember for a long time. The host is incredibly generous. As soon as I arrived, he invited me to dinner made entirely from home-grown ingredients, nothing from a supermarket. Throughout my stay, he kept bringing me fresh produce from his garden. Such a kind and generous man. Honestly, I do not understand how he can afford to be so generous at this price. The accommodation is not a luxury hotel, but it has everything you need—and, above all, it offers a truly unique opportunity to experience rural Bosnia. If I ever return to Bosnia, I will gladly make a special detour to stay here again, because it was wonderful. I stayed in several places during my trip through the Balkans, and this was by far the best.

The only challenge is finding the property. You need to make a sharp turn onto the street directly opposite the school in Drvar, then continue along the road for quite a while. Do not rely too much on the house numbering or sequence, as it does not really apply here. The accommodation is a little further on and cannot be seen from the road.

Mladen's place is absolutely adorable. We felt at home right away, we were able to check in at 22:30 and were greeted by him, a friendly welcoming message (we used google translate for communication) and a bunch of fresh fruit and vegetables from his own garden. The next day, we got to meet his adorable dogs and his lovely wife, and were presented with even more delicious home-grown fruits. There is plenty of space in the house and a huge garden, perfect for families or small groups.

Google Maps sent us to the wrong place when using the adress but we found the house using the GPS coordinates provided! The attached picture may also help.

Nagyon kedves,segítőkész,gyerekszerető házigazda,ellátott bennünket mindennel,sok tippet adott látnivalókkal kapcsolatban. A szobák tágasak és tiszták voltak,az ágyak kényelmesek. A fürdőszobában mosógép volt,a konyhában pedig egy szárító gép. Ár-érték arányban is megfelelő volt!

We truly felt like home… peaceful place, big garden, surrounded by nature and sheeps , and most importantly by the hospitality of very kind and generous host…we stayed longer then we planned and it still was not long enough…🙏❤️
