Room was quite spacious and room/bathroom amenities were great. We even used the outdoor kitchen to make ourselves breakfast. This location is dog friendly too. Owner is super nice. The location is only about a 10 min walk to several good restaurants (we really enjoyed the Saffron Indian restaurant - just superb flavor). Views of the Volcano from the pool area are spectacular. We had clear skies much of the time we were there, so that was a treat! I walked the dog down the hill (away from town) each morning and there was a small farm with sort of a waterfall that was lovely. There were many birds flying around. We saw some Toucans near the property one day. There is far less road noise here than on the main hwy through town. Occasionally a loud car or motorcycle sped by, but it was not bothersome at night, since we ran the fan and a/c. I had no issues with the internet on my laptop! Although I never made any calls, I was working on a remote desktop for a couple hours and it was just fine. We will likely stay here again when en route to/from the Caribbean and the Pacific.

The beds are firm, which is fairly typical in Costa Rica. The pillows were pretty firm too. The walls could be better insulated to keep the cool air in. We turned the A/C off when we went on a tour for a few hours and it was SUPER hot in our room when we got back (it was a sunny day though). We then were able to cool off in the lovely pool though.

Beautiful little spot, close to restaurants and tourist spots but quiet and serene. Comfy beds and great shower!

Wish there was a kitchen in the villa. a second chair in the main room would have been great! all in all nothing to complain about! pura vida!
