Property is well located for a trip into Beverley, around 5/6minutes drive traffic permitting. Area is very quiet and pleasant. The lodge is new and the price for three nights in this with a hot tub was more than reasonable. Sofa was comfortable, beds a little soft for my liking but that’s personal preference - these were clean and got a good nights sleep. Paths are well laid out and site not too busy - just the right amount of residents.

Would love to stay again however there’s a couple of things that just need to be sorted for this to be a 10/10 experience. Fully aware this is a small scale business, however improvements can be made. There was no welcome pack or welcome email for the stay. This would have been helpful when knowing certain ins and outs/ what might be needed (e.g there was washing up liquid and cutlery but no tea towel - with self accommodation it’s just good to know) . On the night we arrived there was no TV signal or no way of getting WiFi to use a iPlayer/on demand channel. Asked about this at the bar and someone mentioned someone would come and look at. A pleasant young lad came and had a look but couldn’t sort (believed aerial needed adjustment) and said you just might have to use your data for it to work. If there’s a new smart TV in the stay even if it’s not that important it should work. Appreciate there isn’t yet WiFi on site but if there’s issue with signal it would be good for a backup. With reference to no instructions/welcome pack could have done with some info on best practice for getting the hot tub to stop running when not using. I don’t like to feel I’m wasting energy. Kettle although new with other fixtures had a bad buildup of particles/scaling on the inside - we have a 5 month old boy and with needing boiling water for bottles, bought a travel kettle to be safe. The area in the living space is carpeted and would be handy in the storage cupboard to have a small vacuum to get bits up to keep this clean and tidy. Didn’t want to tread any loose food items into the carpet and with only a dustpan and brush to use, had to pick bits up by hand. Wrappers found under one of beds in double room and crisp packet found in hot tub - just a focus on pre checks required. Handed the wrong key when checking in - no big deal but it appears none of the sets or keys were labelled.
