The location, both rooms have AC, the bed was comfortable and the host, Emilija, told us plenty of tips and tricks regarding Malta, referring to restaurants, points of interest such as museums and beaches.

The apartment had a few stains, that looked permanent, maybe the apartment could be repainted in the near future. However, it was clean so it was more of an aesthetic issue.

Location and the size of the apartment. Host was very quick to respond to any questions and gave great restaurant recommendations.

1. As this was a last minute booking we didn’t explore and find out that there were 3 flights of stairs to climb to get to the apartment with luggage. 2. Power outage that was resolved by flicking the 20 odd switches on the circuit board in a particular order. 3. Water leakage when rained onto bedroom floor near power points and enclosed balcony was totally wet. 4. Leak from bathroom basin onto floor every time you used the basin. 5. Loose floor tiles throughout apartment creating tripping hazard and possibility of cuts to bare feet. 6. Lockbox did not work. 7. Wifi not accessible 8. No lighting from street front door to bottom of stairs at night. 9. Advert detailed toiletries supplies - they were not luxury rather ends of shampoo and soap store bought containers.
