Location was good, the apartment was in a quiet block in a quiet area and it was clean.

For the rental cost you would expect some basics like a toilet roll & some dishwasher tabs, no one goes away for 4 days and buys a whole box of dishwasher tabs, usually you get a cleaning pack. There was a washing machine but no washing powder - hadn’t intended to do any washing but had to wash the shower curtain as it stank. Half of the lights under the kitchen units didn’t work meaning that it was like cooking in candlelight. The pillows are weird pointless pillows that disappear when you put your head on. Some of the pillows and duvets are feather - which wasn’t great for allergy / asthma sufferers. There is no blind for the balcony door - which means you get woken up by the light. We had to keep the patio door open otherwise there was an overwhelming drain smell - this probably due to the whole buildings plumbing system rather than the apartment maintenance. Kitchen equipment was hit and miss - no large dinner plates, random selection of cups - some chipped, only three breakfast bowls.
