We really enjoyed 3 nights at this lovely house. The entire house, 2 floors, 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. 2 powerful AC units on each floor. The hosts met us and did a tour around the home and also told us about the area. Very friendly people, we used the translator to communicate. The house is equipped with everything you need, they even had paper towels and drinking bottled water. The kitchen has everything you need, very suitable for cooking. The master bedroom has a new memory foam mattress, pretty comfortable and the AC unit from the hallway still cools off the room very well. Trash sorting instructions are in Italian so be prepared to use translator. The house has a private fenced yard where the pine trees provide shade and wonderful scent. A space to park for a small car like Toyota Yaris.There’s outside shower, hammock and plenty of seating spaces. At the beginning of September it was very hot like 31-32 C so the shade was very appropriated. The staircase inside the house is suitable for people with good knees, which was our case. There was always good stream of hot water in all showers and sinks. The wide beach is 5-7 minutes of walking. There is also a pine forest there. The water is good, warm and calm but not as blue as in Costa Smeralda due to the color of the bottom I guess. We visited the nearby La Calletta beach which had lots of Posidonia seaweed but the beach closest the house was clean. The location is a good hour away by car from Cala Ganone where we went to take the tour of the Baunei Coast. For groceries you need to have a car, the closest Despar store is 5 minutes away, has very good selection of raw and cooked food. Keep in mind that in Sardinia there are lots of insects and some time they can get into the house, like ants, mosquitoes. We got lucky this time and saw zero mosquitoes but did see bees outside especially on the beach. Overall it was a great experience.
