A proposito di questa appartamento struttura in affitto
Quiet, hilly location, apartment with a view of the sea
The apartment is located on the first floor of an ancient building in Carignano, a small village in the heart of Lunigiana, a region nestled between the Apuan Alps and the Ligurian Sea. It is the perfect place to enjoy a holiday surrounded by nature, yet close to the sea. It is an ideal base for visiting the various picturesque nearby towns, as well as Cinque Terre, or for day trips to the cities of art, such as Pisa, Lucca, Florence and Genoa.
The apartment is composed of:
a kitchen equipped with induction hob, microwave, refrigerator (without a freezer) and kitchenware;
a bedroom with a double bed with a view over the valley;
a bathroom with the shower. A folding camp bed for a 3rd person can be provided.
Guests can use the garden, which is accessed from the left side of the house (respect to the entrance in the apartment). The owners occasionally use a part of the garden, but the area including the hammock, deck chairs and the table is reserved for the guests' exclusive use, except for brief moments when the owners need to use it for water supply or maintenance.
During the cold season (October to March), you can light the pellet stove, which the owners will provide on request. You cannot light the stove between May and September (in accordance with Italian law).
The road to Carignano is a typical hill road of this area, winding through vineyards and woods, offering scenic views and featuring several bends.
Carignano is a very small village with no supermarkets, bars or pharmacies. For these or other necessities, you can go to Sarzana, which is just 6 km away (a 15-minute drive).
As the area is not well served by public transport, we recommend staying in Carignano only if you are travelling by car.
You can park your car about 5 metres from the flat to load and unload your luggage. The car park in the small square (50 metres from the house) is often full. However, you’ll certainly find a space at the entrance to the village (about 200 metres from the house).
My family and I live on the upper floor of the same house, so we are available to provide any information you may need during your stay, or to help with anything else you require.
We would be glad to advise you on the most attractive places to visit in the area based on your interests.
