We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Schoolhouse and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, quality, and a welcoming atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The Schoolhouse is beautifully maintained, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully renovated, with every detail including accessibility contributing to a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The bedrooms are exceptionally comfortable, well-appointed, and very quiet, making it easy to unwind and get a great night’s sleep. We especially appreciated the attention to detail, the warm hospitality, and the care that had clearly gone into making guests feel at home. The location was also excellent, convenient to local attractions while still offering a peaceful retreat. Using the Schoolhouse as our base meant we could enjoy day trips to so many attractions; the Cliffs of Moher, Loop Head, Kilkee Cliffs, Kilrush, Galway, Limerick, and Co. Clare beaches. The town of Kilrush offers an excellent selection of restaurants, pubs, and cafés, many of which proudly showcase local fare and regional ingredients. What truly stood out was the overall experience: a perfect blend of charm, comfort, and genuine hospitality. We left feeling refreshed and grateful for such a memorable stay. We would not hesitate to return and would confidently recommend this accommodation to family and friends.
