ARBELLIA Appart'Hôtel Châlons en Champagne

The property was newly opened ( two weeks ago) and so everything was shiny new and immaculately clean. The old post office building, it has been renovated and decorated to a very high standard. It is very modern with all mod cons, including a good sized swimming pool which we were able to enjoy ‘toute seule’ during our stay. We were upgraded to a suite apartment for our stay which included a living area , dining area and kitchen and then our bedroom in a separate floor overlooking the cathedral. Just lovely.

Very little. We ordered breakfast for our first day and it only arrived when we had to remind reception staff that it hadn’t been delivered. It was incredibly good value for money though and one would have been sufficient for both of us.

Wunderbar im alten Gemäuer und trotzdem hochmodern. Tolle Einrichtung und gutes Konzept. Das Frühstück wird im Zimmer serviert und ist liebevoll und gut. Parkplatz direkt vor der Unterkunft vorhanden. Auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt geeignet,gut aufgeteiltes Zimmer mit voll ausgestatteter Küche (Mikrowelle,Spülmaschine,Kühlschrank usw.) Wunderbar ruhig in der Nacht. Hotel scheint ganz neu zu sein.

Kein Bademantel bzw.Korb mit Handtuch im Zimmer vorhanden. Tolles neues Schwimmbad mit Umkleiden usw. Nur leider sind die vorhandenen Duschen nicht für einen längeren Duschvorgang geeignet. Es gibt kein Duschgel usw. Anschließend ist ein Duschen auf dem Zimmer notwendig, was im Ablauf kompliziert ist. Trotzdem alles Top und das kann aufgewertet werden.

Struttura molto moderna internamente in palazzo d’epoca, vicino al centro città. Appartamento curato nei dettagli con angolo cottura, moderno con possibilità di parcheggio a pagamento. Ottima e abbondantissima colazione servita in stanza. Rapporto qualità prezzo molto interessante. Soggiorno veramente piacevole

The decoration is nice, the bed was comfortable and it is nice to have access to a kitchen, and the shower was really nice. The view from the room was really amazing and the building is very nice looking.

I would not recommend the breakfast option, there is no choice and it is quite heavy, and not so diversed for the price. Regarding the breakfast, the first day, the staff knocked on our door at 9am so many times to warn about the breakfast, and the next day they just left it in front of the door without even knocking (while we did not tell them about them waking us up the day before!) the parking is not advertised to be paying, this is something you discover after requesting it, and we asked if we could check out at 12am instead of 11am, so we could enjoy the facilities (pool and sauna), as their opening hours are quite short if you plan things during the day, but to extend 1h was 20 euros. It is missing still facilities within the room (no trash in the toilet, only a mirror in the bathroom, your cannot Chromecast to the TV because it requires to take your wifi without giving internet, there is very low storage to put your toiletries in the bathroom). Information is also very hard to find online or on booking, for instance I had to call to know the functioning of the sauna, and there is a gym which is not advertised. It could be great but there are many things to improve in my opinion.
