Rachael was so lovely! She went above and beyond to make me feel at home during my stay. The room is really nice with a very comfy bed, multiple types of pillows, ample closet space, and a lovely private bathroom. The cats in the home are super sweet, they’ll give you a cuddle if you want, but keep to themselves if you’re not so keen. The location is super convenient, easily walkable into town and to the Packhouse market (which is definitely worth checking out on Friday night and the weekend). Rachael even offers a ride from the airport for $10 which is far less expensive and more convenient than a taxi.

The only downside is that the house is quite close to the neighbors, so when the curtains are up there isn’t much privacy. In the grand scheme, this wasn’t really an issue.

Rachael is a welcoming and highly considerate host. I am so grateful to her for all the help she gave me during my stay. The new and clean house is in a peaceful surrounding, yet quite close to the town centre.

House was warm, spacious, well-appointed and located in a quiet neighbourhood. The owner was friendly, accommodating and non-intrusive (gave me room to enjoy the space).

I hadn't realized (from the info provided on Booking.com) that this was a room in the owner's place of residence, and they would be present in the home also. This turned out okay but I'd have preferred to have known in advance. The only other thing was the lack of a dining table - this would be a good addition.
