Beautiful location with fantastic views.

The cottage itself was lovely, but unfortunately the parking situation really spoiled our holiday. The property has a shared driveway, and we felt the photographs and description were misleading regarding the parking facilities. We were under the impression that parking was available outside the property, only to discover that this area is apparently reserved for the local farmer and parking is not permitted there. There also seemed to be some tension between the cottage owner and the local farmer, who owns the other three adjacent cottages. Unfortunately, as guests, we were caught in the middle of this situation, which made us feel uncomfortable and took away from what should have been a relaxing break. It’s a real shame, as the cottage itself has plenty going for it, but the uncertainty and difficulty surrounding parking genuinely affected our holiday. We feel the parking arrangements should be made much clearer in the listing so future guests know exactly what to expect before booking.

Great location, lovely views, spacious & plenty of hot water

We couldn’t light the fire as there no firelighters or kindling
