Poipu Beach is a dependable stop for swimming and snorkeling, and Brennecke's is nearby when older kids want bodyboarding action. The neighborhood's paths make it simple to walk the coast, catch sunset, and reach the resort grounds. South Shore dining and shops are nearby, while Old Koloa Town is a short drive for a different pace. It is a green, relaxed base for families who want beach access without the feel of a busy hotel zone.



Getting Around:

Lihue Airport is about 30 to 40 minutes away, a pretty drive across Kauai's south shore. A rental car is recommended to reach Poipu's beaches, Koloa town's shops, and nearby dining with ease. Old Koloa Town is walkable for boutiques and restaurants, while beautiful beaches are just a short drive away. Parking is generally available on site or in small lots around town.
