Fantastic place to stay. The view was amazing, yes, from every room.The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook (and I found an great market just up the hill).

My family stayed here over Spring break, right at the tail end of the Kona low. We lost a day due to the storm but loved our stay! The location of this house is just amazing, you could not possibly be closer to the water. It was too rough to snorkel or swim when we there(again because other storm) but there was a tide pool right in front of the house that we could go in at low tide which was great. The house was so well stocked, even had a coffee grinder for delicious local coffee. The lock on the door is a little tricky, we ended up calling for help on our arrival, but they answered and helped even at about 11 pm and we got the hang of it after that. We loved Captain Cook and had great food at The Coffee Shack and Kaaloa’s Super J which were pretty close. We would absolutely stay here again if/when we are back on the big island.

The view and sound of Kealakekua Bay is outstanding, In my opinion it is the best location of any rental on Kealakekua bay.
