Across the water, discover Claife Heights (6 miles), Latterbarrow (5 miles), and the National Trust-managed Tarn Hows (6 miles), each offering beautiful scenery, accessible walking routes and abundant wildlife. A little further afield, the Old Man of Coniston (10 miles) and Coniston Water (7 miles) form a lake-and-mountain duo that draws outdoor adventurers from far and wide.


This premium three-storey holiday home has been thoughtfully updated, seamlessly blending original features, including exposed stonework, with modern comforts and high-quality fixtures and fittings. On the ground floor, the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner sets the scene for evenings of good food and conversation. The kitchen sits to one side alongside a six-person dining table, with the lounge area opposite. A bay window fills the space with natural light, while a wood burner set against a feature stone wall creates a cosy focal point for evenings in front of the Smart TV. Exposed brickwork continues into two of the bedrooms on the first floor. These are arranged as a king-size and a double, both spacious and inviting, and each with its own Smart TV. The third bedroom occupies the second floor: a generous super-king-size room, also with a Smart TV. This room benefits from a luxurious en-suite featuring a double-ended free-standing bath – perfect for soaking after a busy day. Back on the first floor, guests also have access to a stylish and equally appealing shower room.
