The market town of Ambleside (1.5 miles) boasts an array of shops and eateries, the remains of a Roman fort, plus an art gallery and independent cinema. From here, you can hop on a lake cruise on Lake Windermere, stopping at the tourist centres of Windermere and Bowness, and exploring the various lakeside walking routes.

Featuring soft, neutral hues, the open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area is the heart of this holiday home. Set beneath heavy wooden beams, the inviting lounge has cosy seating arranged around the TV, along with a picture window with incredible views. There's a fully fitted kitchen with duck egg blue cabinets, along with a dining table seating four. When it's time to rest your head, go upstairs to find two welcoming bedrooms, a king-size and a twin, both with wonderful views. They share use of a contemporary shower room.


Outside, a patio and garden with outdoor seating are shared with the other holiday cottages, offering a peaceful spot to enjoy a morning cuppa or an evening aperitif. Guests also have complimentary access to a bookable indoor pool and sauna, while parking for two cars is provided.
