Surf schools in the village offer equipment hire and lessons, while experienced surfers can bring their own boards and head straight for the waves. Those who prefer to admire the coastline from dry land can enjoy scenic walks along the South West Coast Path (350 metres). Follow the clifftop trail past Trebetherick Point (1 mile) and on to the neighbouring village of Rock (2.5 miles), where you can catch the ferry across the Camel Estuary to Padstow (3.5 miles).

Upstairs, you’ll find two further bedrooms, both benefiting from sea views, along with a family bathroom. The bedrooms comprise a king-size room and a flexible super-king-size zip-and-link room that converts to a twin on request. The first-floor landing has also been transformed into a charming reading nook, complete with comfortable seating and access to the balcony.

The first-floor balcony enjoys an elevated position with spectacular views and outdoor seating, while the large enclosed rear garden features a generous lawn, a furnished patio, an outdoor shower and a wetsuit rail.
