Slow down in a private guesthouse tucked into the North Idaho forest, 20 minutes from Sandpoint and the Schweitzer shuttle. A wood-fired sauna, a huge deep soaking tub, a crackling fire pit, and total quiet — this is a rustic homestead escape for couples and small families who want to unplug.

Welcome to your forest hideaway — a peaceful guesthouse nestled in the trees just outside Sandpoint, surrounded by tall pines and quiet mountain air.

Inside is a private bedroom with a queen bed, plus a cozy living room with a twin trundle bed and a big, comfortable couch that easily sleeps a child or extra guest (up to 5 total). Enjoy a full kitchen with a gas range and a spa-like bath with a deep soaking tub and rainfall shower. High-speed Wi-Fi if you want it — or ignore it entirely.

Good to know: this is a working homestead in the woods, not a polished hotel. Our friendly large dogs roam the property — great company and good security against bears and lions. It's rustic, peaceful, and real, and guests who love that give us 5 stars.

You're a short drive from North Idaho's best hikes — Harrison, Beehive, and Caribou Lakes and the Upper Pack River — and 20 minutes to the Schweitzer shuttle. Walk to the river, ski in winter, or soak and stargaze by the fire pit. Adventure or deep rest — this is your gateway to it all.
